History

I. Wunder Photographics started out in 1973 as "The Photo Loft" where Ira Wunder taught professional level classes, rented out darkrooms, and concentrated on B&W custom photographic services. In 1987 the Photo Loft became I. Wunder Photographics. Ira Wunder has collaborated with many professional photographers on book and exhibition projects, as well as serving many studios and photographers in their commercial needs. In 1990 I. Wunder Photographics moved to it's present location in White Plains, New York where it expanded it's facilities. By the late 1990's Mr. Wunder started experimenting with digital Imaging as it achieved acceptable quality and in early 2002 further expanded I. Wunder Photographics by investing in high-end digital equipment having the capabilities of equaling darkroom prints in either B&W or Color. With the addition of archival supplies and framing that same year, I. Wunder Photographics has become a center for fine image making.
